Role Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion with minimal supervision
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS
- Support partners in delivering excellent client service and identifying growth opportunities
- Lead and mentor junior audit staff, fostering development and knowledge-sharing
- Handle portfolio financial management, including WIP, billing, and debt control
- Attend client meetings and build long-term, trusted relationships
- Stay up to date with accounting and auditing standards, offering innovative, compliant solutions
- Contribute to cross-service line collaboration and client retention efforts

Candidate Requirements- At least 4 years’ experience in accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge in audit and financial reporting, including group audits and consolidations
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to client service and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in managing client relationships
- Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience with CaseWare or Mercia audit methodology (desirable)
- A collaborative mindset with an interest in developing junior talent and contributing to firm-wide initiatives
- £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
