I'm currently recruiting for a friendly well established Law firm in Farnborough who is looking for a Legal secretary to join their busy Family Team, this role would suit either a Graduate looking to start their career in Family Law or a Legal secretary, this is a full time office based role.

Daily duties will include -

  • Typing, including maintenance of precedent files and adequate back-ups
  • Filing/maintenance of files
  • Management of Fee Earners’ diaries
  • Resolving telephone enquiries
  • Client liaison
  • Utilising all computer and software systems within the office after appropriate training
  • General support of Department
  • General support for other Departments when necessary (eg in the event of sickness, absence on holiday cover or pressure of work)
  • Post cover where necessary
  • Liaising with Office Junior regarding photocopying requirements and, where necessary (ie due to absence or workload of Office Junior) to carry out photocopying
  • Working in tandem with other staff in the Department
  • Reception cover where necessary
  • Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Partners.
