We have a fantastic part time opportunity for a Payroll professional to join our client’s dynamic team on a part time pay
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Accurately process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls (PAYE & LTD contractors).
- Manage pension scheme set-ups and auto-enrolment for clients.
- Generate and issue sales invoices with supporting documentation.
- Handle end-to-end payroll reconciliations, queries, and HMRC reporting.
- Communicate confidently with clients, contractors, and third-party partners.
- Keep meticulous digital records – from tax documents to payroll files.
- Support year-end payroll processing and contribute to process improvements and exciting new projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong PAYE payroll experience and confidence in explaining tax codes, NI contributions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.).
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service and telephone skills.
- A team player with a can-do attitude and a drive to exceed expectations.
- Knowledge of sales/purchase ledger and basic accounting principles is a bonus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – and quick to learn new systems.
Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Background in the recruitment industry or experience working with agency contractors.
