We have a fantastic part time opportunity for a Payroll professional to join our client’s dynamic team on a part time pay

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Accurately process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls (PAYE & LTD contractors).
  • Manage pension scheme set-ups and auto-enrolment for clients.
  • Generate and issue sales invoices with supporting documentation.
  • Handle end-to-end payroll reconciliations, queries, and HMRC reporting.
  • Communicate confidently with clients, contractors, and third-party partners.
  • Keep meticulous digital records – from tax documents to payroll files.
  • Support year-end payroll processing and contribute to process improvements and exciting new projects.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong PAYE payroll experience and confidence in explaining tax codes, NI contributions, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.).
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Knowledge of sales/purchase ledger and basic accounting principles is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – and quick to learn new systems.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

  • Background in the recruitment industry or experience working with agency contractors.
