Support Worker - Learning Disabilities / Mental Health

Location: CamberleyHours: Full-Time (40 hours per week) - Days or NightsRate: £12.87 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team in Camberley, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs in residential and community settings. This role involves working closely with service users who may present challenging behaviour and suicidal ideation, requiring a calm, empathetic, and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support

  • Support individuals with daily routines, personal care, and emotional wellbeing

  • Implement care plans and promote independence

  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours appropriately

  • Escort service users to appointments and community activities (driving required)

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar support role

  • Background in Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health

  • Confident managing challenging behaviour and suicidal tendencies

  • Must be a Driver with business insurance

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required)
