EYFS Class Teacher - SEN School (Camberley)

Dunbar Education are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful SEN school in Camberley for a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, friendly, warm and welcoming Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in an inclusive and inspiring environment.

The Role

  • Teach and nurture pupils in the EYFS phase, adapting learning to meet a wide range of needs.
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils' individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Take responsibility for the pastoral care and safeguarding of pupils.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Maintain accurate records of planning, assessment, and reporting.
  • Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including meetings, curriculum coordination, and development projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (BEd or equivalent).
  • Experience of teaching and differentiating for pupils with SEND, including those with severe and/or profound learning difficulties.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to lead and motivate a staff team.
  • A flexible, positive approach and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Experience or training in strategies such as PECS, TEACCH, or Makaton is desirable but not essential.
