Position Overview
A new opportunity has been created for aCoSec Traineeto join theFarnhamteam. This permanent full-time position includes a comprehensive induction and full funding to pursue professional qualifications, with flexible working options available.
Job Responsibilities
This trainee position includes full training and support to develop your skills for a long-term career within the practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining statutory records using Inform Direct software
- Preparing paperwork for director changes, address updates, PSC updates, share transfers and allotments, share reorganisations, name changes, ARD changes, dividends, and other technical company secretarial work
- Managing company incorporations and post-incorporation paperwork
- Handling company striking off processes
- Ensuring prompt preparation and submission of CS01 and PSC registers
- Client follow-up for overdue CS01s
- Processing stock transfer forms for HMRC Stamping and calculating Stamp Duty
- Preparing dormant accounts
- Performing system maintenance including downloading new company information and archiving historic records
- Managing correspondence sent to the registered office address
Qualifications
There are two entry routes to this training programme:
- Post A-Levels (A, B, B) or equivalent qualifications
- University students with achieved or predicted 2:1 or above
Essential Requirements:
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 5 or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, with ability to quickly learn new software
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Positive, confident, and proactive attitude
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
- Commitment to undertaking and succeeding in professional studies
- Relevant work experience is beneficial but not essential.
