An integral role within the Accounting & Finance department, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations and providing strategic financial planning and support to the team. Description
- Oversee the financial operations of the organisation. (Reporting to the Directors)
- Develop and monitor budgets, and implement cost control measures.
- Present financial reports and business forecasts to senior management.
- Produce Management Accounts and liaise with the external Accountants when required.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Work with other departments to identify financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Manage Payroll
- Provide leadership and support to the finance team.
Profile
A successful 'Finance Manager' should be:
- AAT Qualified, CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / QBE
- Possibly come from a Bookkeeping background
- Ability to run Payroll
- Good communication skills and able to work with key stakeholders.
- Experience of Xero sotware would be beneficial
- Experience in an SME Environment.
- Some Supervisory experience
