Academics are working with an excellent primary school in Faversham who are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join their friendly and supportive team.

As a caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the school premises are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, and general DIY tasks around the site.

  • Opening and closing the school premises, including security checks.

  • Managing cleaning supplies and liaising with cleaning staff.

  • Ensuring the school grounds are clean, tidy, and safe.

  • Monitoring health and safety standards and reporting any issues.

  • Assisting with setting up rooms for events and school activities.

  • Liaising with contractors and supervising on-site works when required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in their work.

  • Has good practical skills and basic knowledge of building maintenance.
