Are you an organised and experienced Legal Secretary with a background in commercial conveyancing? A well-established legal practice in Faversham is seeking a dedicated professional to join their commercial property team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing vital secretarial and administrative support to a busy team of solicitors handling commercial property matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and manage legal documents, contracts, and correspondence for commercial property transactions.
Submit Land Registry applications and handle SDLT submissions.
Liaise professionally with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
Maintain and update case management systems and client files.
Schedule appointments, manage diaries, and coordinate meetings.
Conduct property searches and assist with due diligence processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
Provide general administrative support including filing, photocopying, and telephone handling.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Secretary in commercial conveyancing.
Solid understanding of commercial property law and conveyancing processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
