We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily management of the account’s inbox
- Accurate processing of supplier invoices relating to jobs
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Setting up new supplier accounts
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Handling manual fast payment documentation
- Assisting with processing overhead invoices
- Allocating payments to supplier invoices
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes
Skills & Experience Required:
- Some experience in accounts/finance (desirable but not essential)
- The ability to multitask and adapt within a busy office environment
- Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
