Our client, a Freight Forwarder based in Felixstowe, hasan excellentopportunity for a experiencedand enthusiastic individual to join their Import Customs Clearance team.
Duties would include:
- Responsible for producingquality and accurate customs entries.
- Obtaining accurateinformation from importers, before completingcustoms entry
- Monitoring ofarrivals
- Building excellent working relationships with clients, resolving any issues
- Working within HMRC regulations
- Communicatingwith customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
- Address and resolveany documentation or shipment issues promptly.
Required Experience
- Import customs clearance experience is essential
- Knowledge of CNS and Destin8 or similar preferred
- Customer Service skills
- Attention to detail
