An established logistics and distribution provider is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Felixstowe. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all operational activities meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance, safety, and industry best practices.

About the Role:This role is ideal for a compliance professional with a solid background in haulage and a comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations, motor fleet insurance, FORS, and AEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and supporting the team with expert guidance to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Health & Safety legislation, motor fleet insurance requirements, FORS, and AEO standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Develop, update, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
  • Deliver training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Oversee fleet compliance, including insurance renewals and claims management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a compliance role within the haulage or logistics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (Health & Safety, FORS, AEO, motor fleet insurance).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant compliance certifications are advantageous.
