Our Felixstowe client is seeking to hire an Import Bookings Clerk for their small, busy team.
Candidates should ideally possess previous experience in Freight Forwarding or Transport.
Key responsibilities include booking deliveries, requesting releases, and having knowledge of Destin8/CNS.
A basic understanding of booking sea freight and customs knowledge would be advantageous, though not essential.
The position offers a salary of £28,000 per annum and requires candidates to have relevant experience.

Our Felixstowe client is looking to appoint an Import Bookings Clerk to their small busy team, candidates must ideally have gained previous Freight Forwarding/Transport experience.

Duties will include
Booking deliveries
Requesting releases
Knowledge of Destin8/CNS
Basic knowledge of booking sea freight would be an advantage
Customs knowledge not essential but would be an advantage

Skills
Good customer service skills
Good telephone manner
Ability to work in a team and be able to work on own initiative

Salary 28,000 p/a
