We are seeking a skilled Container Traffic Operator with knowledge of TOPS to contribute to our dynamic operations team. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate the movement of container traffic in line with operational schedules and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the TOPS (Terminal Operating System) platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, hauliers, and external partners to ensure seamless container handling.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and operational standards.
  • Proactively resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Foster clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders to support efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within logistics or transport coordination.
  • Proficiency in using TOPS or equivalent terminal operating systems. (very important)
  • Experience in subcontractor management is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
