IT Project Manager

Pinpoint Resourcing are working with a well established logistics company based near Hounslow, who are actively seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team.

Job Description & Role

The management and execution of projects from a business and technical level globally. The successful candidate will be based at our London HQ and will report directly into the Head of IT.

Your general tasks include:

Liaise with Sales and other Internal teams to understand the scope and requirements of the projects, document the requirements and get these approved by all parties involved to ensure project success and on time delivery.
Coordinate internal customers and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of turn key projects; end to end and take accountability of such implementation.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility -Liasing with technical support vendors to drive delivery and execution of projects.
Ensure project prioritisation, resource availability and allocation.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and continuously highlight issues and risks with resolution thereof.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed with a drive to show resolution.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Provide specialist technical expertise and skills on global project analysis, design, and deployment.
Building effective project teams and motivating them to effectively deliver on projects.

Requirements

The Successful Business Delivery Manager will possess relevant experience/qualifications in the below:

Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project management.
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
Process definition and Management Skills.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Minimum 3 years logistics/distribution experience
Minimum 1 years of project management experience
Specialist IT and senior project management skills in supply chain focusing on distribution
Experience in managing large scale business and IT projects Following Skills will give you additive advantage.
Hands on Experience with APIs

Salary + other information:

35,000 - 40,000
4 days in the office - 1 day from home
Based near Hounslow
