Quality Control Engineer | Ferndown | £45,000 Are you an experienced Quality Control Engineer with strong CMM skills? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a precision-driven manufacturer where your expertise will ensure products meet exacting standards. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will benefit from:
  • Night shift premium of 1.45
  • Night shift hours: Mon–Weds (12 hours per shift), Thurs (6 hours) – total 42 hours per week (38 standard + 4 OT)
  • Holiday allowance of 190 hours plus bank/public holidays
  • Company pension with 6% employer contribution
  • Possibility of overtime at x1.5 rate once skill level allows
  • Autonomy to make decisions and influence quality processes

As a Quality Control Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing detailed inspections using CMM and other metrology equipment
  • Monitoring production quality and ensuring compliance with specifications

  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on quality performance
As a Quality Control Engineer, your experience will include:
  • Proven experience in a quality control role within manufacturing
  • Strong CMM programming and operation skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply geometric tolerances
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and metrology software
