Our client, a leading national manufacturer due to expansion, is looking to recruit an organised, professional, and efficient Factory Manager to complement their growing team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, duties to include:

  • Generates manufacturing work orders using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) planned order requirements generating purchase requisitions for outside process and outside manufacturing services
  • Develop a manufacturing model to facilitate the site's production planning process
  • Oversee monthly packaging/ingredients stock checks and reconcile SAP stocks
  • Utilise material requirements planning techniques and sound business judgment to generate work orders that support the production schedule
  • Work with Demand and Merchandise Planning functions in the issuance of purchase orders in tandem with customer demand
  • Support manufacturing by managing production output and delivering time-critical components to execute on master schedule respond to unanticipated changes in production schedule
  • Develop weekly manufacturing plan to meet target load objectives and satisfy organisation inventory goals
  • Balance production planning across the network to maintain sprint capacity, including load levelling in preparation for maintenance shutdowns, seasonal volumes

As a successful candidate you will have experience within a similar manufacturing/production role, be self-motivated, possess excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills together with the ability to plan and manage a workload efficiently. ICT Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Inc. Excel) is essential and a related qualification in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management would be beneficial but not essential.
