- You’ll be on duty every 5 weeks, providing crucial front-line assessments and safeguarding responses.
- Work includes Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court Proceedings.
- Collaborate with health, police, education, and early help teams for effective, multi-agency responses.

- Complete robust assessments of risk, need, and safeguarding within statutory timescales.
- Manage a varied caseload including duty cases, assessments, and ongoing interventions.
- Create outcome-focused care plans that promote safety, stability, and long-term change.
- Use your professional judgement to make timely, evidence-informed decisions.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families to engage them in the process.
- Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- 4+ years' experience in statutory children’s services
- Strong background in Duty & Assessment, Child Protection, and Court Work
- Confident decision-maker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deep understanding of child safeguarding legislation
- Skilled in working within a multi-disciplinary environment
