About the Role

You’ll be on duty every 5 weeks, providing crucial front-line assessments and safeguarding responses.
Work includes Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court Proceedings.
Collaborate with health, police, education, and early help teams for effective, multi-agency responses.

You’ll be part of a busy but supportive team that values reflection, offering monthly individual and group supervision.? Your Responsibilities

Complete robust assessments of risk, need, and safeguarding within statutory timescales.
Manage a varied caseload including duty cases, assessments, and ongoing interventions.
Create outcome-focused care plans that promote safety, stability, and long-term change.
Use your professional judgement to make timely, evidence-informed decisions.
Build meaningful relationships with children and families to engage them in the process.

�? What We’re Looking For

Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
4+ years' experience in statutory children’s services
Strong background in Duty & Assessment, Child Protection, and Court Work
Confident decision-maker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deep understanding of child safeguarding legislation
Skilled in working within a multi-disciplinary environment
