Production/Machine Operators
Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
About the Role:
Proactive Recruitment is currently hiring reliable and hardworking Production Operators for a leading manufacturing facility based in Flitwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent position.
Working Hours: Days and Nightshifts available
Day Shifts - 08:00- 20:00 (rotating/shifts alternate weekly)
Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Week 2 - Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday
Rate: 14.66-16.00 per hour
Nightshift: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
12-hour shifts, 4 nights per week
Rate: 15.18-16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct routine quality checks on products
- Pack and prepare products for dispatch according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation on the production floor
- Follow all company health & safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Punctual and dependable
