About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our school kitchen team in Folkestone. You will play a key role in supporting the catering service, ensuring meals are prepared and served to a high standard in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and serving meals to students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash up and manage kitchen equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Enhanced DBS check required (we can assist with the application if needed).
