Learning Support AssistantKey Responsibilities:

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting young children with diverse learning needs. You'll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young children every day. In this rewarding role, you'll support pupils with a range of learning needs-helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their full potential. Working closely with class teachers, you'll adapt lessons, deliver focused one-to-one or small group support, and encourage independence in a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels supported and valued.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting behaviour management strategies
  • Assisting with emotional regulation
  • Encouraging social skills development
  • Observing and reporting on pupil progress
