Currently they are looking for a Second Chef to support the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen. With a small team they prepare modern British cuisine, and everything is made in house, where possible using local suppliers.

This is an ideal role for a Chef de Partie/Junior Sous Chef looking to make the next step in their career, with all the benefits of not working for a large pub chain. They have a small intimate restaurant and further seating outside for the warmer months. On average they cater for 60-70 covers mid-week and this goes up to 80-100 covers a day at the weekends.
As Second Chef you will be given the opportunity to input ideas onto the menu, assist with stock control, ordering and running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.

Previous experience within a fresh food kitchen
