Sonic Summary

Our client, a small but growing manufacturer based in Forfar, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This is a days-based role, working Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include fault finding, diagnostics during breakdowns, and working with a planned maintenance system.
The ideal candidate should have excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, be apprentice trained or hold an HNC or equivalent in a mechanical qualification, and have relevant manufacturing experience.
The salary for this position is competitive, and experience with pumps, conveyors, and gearbox maintenance is highly regarded.

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant

The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Apprentice trained/HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical qualification
Experience within manufacturing would be highly beneficial
Pumps, conveyors, gearbox maintenance would be looked upon favourably
