The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are currently working with an organisation in the highlands for a finance business analyst manager on a permanent basis.

The vacancy has arisen due to a restructure within the finance department and will report directly to head of finance whilst working closely with finance business partners/senior finance business partners.

The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide in-depth analysis of the financial drivers of the organisation - revenue, cost and cash in order to improve reporting to stakeholders and assist with the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, including the preparation of monthly Management Accounts for the Group.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Oversee the financial management of a significant number of specific contracts (100+)Act as a subject matter expert in the provisioning of finance support and business partnering to a wide variety of colleagues within the organisation (financial and non financial)Review funding provisions to ensure that governance and guidelines are metSupport the business in the provision of budgetsReview project costs and analyse spend/income against forecastAssist in the creation of financial models to aid the production of future project revenue

The RequirementsWe are seeking a professionally qualified accountant who ideally has a proven track record of working within a project based environment. Theis role would suit an individual who has come from either a higher education background or potentially the public sector, however our client is open to candidates who have worked within other sectors. Applicants will be required to be working onsite within the highlands so we are looking at candidates who are able to travel to the area 2-3 days per week.

Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
