Family Legal SecretaryLocation: FromeJob Type: Full-timeWorking Hours: Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid for lunchSalary – Competitive  We are representing a client who is seeking a dedicated Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to their Family Team. This role is perfect for someone who has a professional approach and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.Day-to-day of the role:

  1. Audio typing, preparing, and amending draft documents.
  2. Opening files and sending initial letters.
  3. Providing clients with quotes and preparing completed files for storage.
  4. Making and receiving telephone calls, and dealing with clients both in person and on the telephone.
  5. Making appointments, assisting with queries, and providing reception cover as needed during holiday and sickness.
  6. Liaising with the Accounts department to obtain cheques, print-outs, and other necessary documents.
  7. Collaborating with other staff members as appropriate.
  8. Performing general filing, photocopying, and other duties as required by the fee earners.
  9. Carrying out all other general clerical duties as required.  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Excellent presentation and a professional approach to clients and colleagues.
  2. Good telephone manner and strong organisational abilities.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with all clients and staff.
  4. Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
