Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to pupils and assist the class teacher with lesson delivery.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to help pupils access learning and stay engaged.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning requirements.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with staff and pupils to support overall development.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (in a school or similar setting).
- A genuine interest in education and working as a teaching assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable (but not essential):
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience with SEN or behavioural support.
