  • Demonstrate compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Health working practices at all times.
  • Review contractor RAMS as required for completion of permits to work.
  • Adhere to all company SSOW and RA’s for maintenance tasks, completing Dynamic Risk Assessments in adhoc situations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes and spare parts used.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and all associated system activity, monitor repair times and mean time between failure and find new methods / procedures to reduce these.
  • Ensure operating and maintenance manuals, diagnostic instructions and special tools are readily available to all maintenance staff.
  • Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
  • Maintenance facilities to be in a clean, tidy and safe condition at all times.
  • Safe working environment with 0 accidents / LTAs
  • Make food safety a priority within a maintenance environment.
  • Actively promote the site safety culture by raising Safety Observation reports (SORs), Behavioural
  • Observations and Food Observation reports.
  • Ensure along with rest of the maintenance team that all engineering KPIs are delivered in full and on time.
  • Be environmentally aware by implementing improvements to reduce our carbon footprint reducing waste and avoiding any uncontrolled spillages.
  • Right First-Time, World-Class Manufacturing approach helping to drive plant efficiencies
  • Engineering support to factory operational delivery requirements
  • CI activities as directed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • An apprentice trained Multiskilled Engineer with either Mech / Elec Bias Essential
  • Familiar with instrument calibrations Essential
  • Experience with HMIs, PLCs / DCS / Scada fault finding Essential
  • Experience with CMMS, preventative / predictive maintenance Essential
  • Able to manage contractors
  • Food industry experience involving hygienic equipment
