- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from initial planning to final handover.
- Prepare Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage Strategy Reports.
- Design roads, sewers, plot drainage, and site levels, identifying retaining walls and earthworks.
- Produce high-quality technical drawings for project submissions.
- Collaborate with highways, water authorities, and LLFAs for compliant design approvals (e.g., S38 and S104).
- Attend project meetings and engage with clients, stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and software (e.g., MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D).
- 6 – 10 years of civil engineering experience.
- HNC in Civil Engineering (minimum qualification).
- Experience in residential development projects.
- Proficient in civil engineering design software (MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civils 3D).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of UK planning procedures and design codes (e.g., Manual for Streets, Design Manual for Roads and Bridges).
- Full UK driving licence.
