Civils Estimator - North East Region
We're currently working with a reputable and growing civil engineering contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Civils Estimator on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid background in civils estimating or quantity surveying to join a business that values integrity, innovation, and quality.
The Role:
As a Civils Estimator, you'll play a key role in supporting the preparation and submission of competitive and profitable tenders. Acting as the main point of contact throughout the tendering process, you'll liaise directly with the client's professional team, ensuring the bid team clearly understands and delivers against the tender requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams during the tender process.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce effective pricing strategies.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure alignment of project objectives.
- Provide input into risk assessments and value engineering solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering estimating or quantity surveying.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive mindset and keen attention to detail.
