KCR Solutions are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join an excellent client based in Gateshead. Supporting financial decision-making, this role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial analysis, planning, and reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, ERP/MRP system experience, and an understanding of US GAAP and SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Decision Support
  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic decisions across the division
  • Extract and interpret financial data to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Reporting & Compliance
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including monthly statements, forecasts, and mid-year reviews
  • Support the preparation of divisional budgets and cost reports in line with corporate timelines
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal SOX controls
  • Systems & Process Improvement
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage financial data and streamline reporting processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within financial workflows
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Liaise with operational teams to understand cost drivers and support financial accountability
  • Partner with internal audit and compliance teams to uphold financial governance standards

Key Experience & Qualifications

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified in a recognized financial qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modelling)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or logistics environment, ideally with ERP/MRP exposure
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance frameworks
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
