Description
- Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, including PAYE and NI contributions.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary payroll documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Support ad-hoc payroll-related tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- Experience in payroll processing within a professional environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
- Experience with iTrent would be desirable.
- A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
