What You Will Do:

- Conduct testing of diesel and gasoline combustion and aftertreatment systems in both vehicles and testbed environments.

- Support environmental test trips and collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure robust calibrations.

- Develop and calibrate diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems, including soot and fuel-in-oil models.

- Perform On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) calibration for diesel systems.

- Utilise tools such as INCA/MDA, Concerto, CRETA, and Matlab/Simulink to analyse data and optimise calibration.

- Coach and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their development.

What You Will Bring:

- Strong knowledge of calibration tools such as INCA/MDA, Concerto, CRETA, and Matlab/Simulink.

- Demonstrated experience in emissions testing for internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.

- Proven ability to conduct testbed development for combustion and aftertreatment systems.

- A full UK or European driving licence and passport, enabling participation in European-based test trips.

- A degree in Engineering, showcasing a solid foundation in technical expertise.
