About the job 

As our new Production Operative at our Settle Dairy you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic Lacto-Free products. Working a rotating continental 12hr shift pattern covering both days and nights you will monitor the running of our production lines ensuring key targets are achieved. The shift pattern is over 4 weeks and includes 8 consecutive days off!

Responsibilities

  • Running of our production lines safely and efficiently to produce top quality products
  • Performing quality inspections on materials and finished product
  • Quality checks to include, codes, sealing and weights
  • Filling of trays, glues and caps
  • Reporting safety issues to maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings
  • Perform specified cleaning tasks as per our daily/monthly schedules.

What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role

  • Previous experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience with food safety regulations and practices would be beneficial but not essential
  • All training and support will be provided during your induction period
  • A motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative
  • You’re as serious about quality as we are – and ready to work hard to achieve it
  • A good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills
