We are seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business in Medway. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience in managing purchase ledgers in a dynamic environment. Experience with Sage 200 is preferred, enhancing your ability to contribute effectively to our finance team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Full management of the purchase ledger, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Matching purchase orders (POs) with invoices and delivery notes to maintain accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with FSC accreditations; prior experience in this area is highly desirable.
  • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any queries promptly.
  • Supporting month-end processes and contributing to accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk role is essential.
  • Proficiency in Sage 200 or similar accounting software is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy, crucial for FSC compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
