We are currently seeking a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a busy finance team based in Gillingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and previous experience in accounts payable.
Location: GillinghamRate: £15.60 per hourContract Type: Temporary (with potential for extension)Key Responsibilities:- Accurately processing high volumes of purchase invoices
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Resolving supplier and internal queries
- Supporting the finance team with month-end tasks
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and time management skills
