Monday – Thursday (Night Shift)

Are you reliable, hands-on, and looking to join a business where your work genuinely matters? We’re supporting a well-established company in the Rochester area that’s looking to grow their team with a dependable and hardworking Factory Operative.

This is a varied, physical role based in a busy production environment, where you'll be primarily operating machinery and supporting the wider team with general manufacturing tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operating a band saw to process materials
  • Following technical instructions to complete tasks accurately
  • Carrying out manual handling and moving materials around the factory
  • Assisting with additional tasks such as shot blasting when required
  • Recording your work using touch-screen systems and job cards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous factory or production experience 
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
  • Ideally some experience working with metal
  • Willingness to work nights
