Are you reliable, hands-on, and looking to join a business where your work genuinely matters? We’re supporting a well-established company in the Rochester area that’s looking to grow their team with a dependable and hardworking Factory Operative.
This is a varied, physical role based in a busy production environment, where you'll be primarily operating machinery and supporting the wider team with general manufacturing tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating a band saw to process materials
- Following technical instructions to complete tasks accurately
- Carrying out manual handling and moving materials around the factory
- Assisting with additional tasks such as shot blasting when required
- Recording your work using touch-screen systems and job cards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous factory or production experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
- Ideally some experience working with metal
- Willingness to work nights
