This is a fantastic opportunity to support a busy training department and play a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting staff development.
Training Administrator Key Responsibilities:- Book training courses as required and ensure timely scheduling.
- Notify supervisors and managers of upcoming certificate/card expiries.
- Set up apprentices through the Apprenticeship Levy and liaise with relevant training organisations.
- Monitor and respond to emails in the training inbox.
- Review and approve training-related invoices.
- Allocate training cards and certificates to individuals using internal systems.
- Apply for CITB grants where applicable.
- Regularly check the Sentinel Portal for competency expiries.
- Assist with answering incoming calls and general administrative support.
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with training coordination or similar administrative roles is desirable.
- Familiarity with CITB grants and the Sentinel Portal is a plus.
