Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer complaints and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, work instructions, quality procedures, and food safety regulations.
  • Audit the effectiveness of previous corrective actions and ensure relevance.
  • Monitor and document quality issues during production, raising concerns where necessary.
  • Conduct audits for ISO 9001, 14001, and FSSC 22000 standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and a zero-defects culture.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide departmental cover during sickness/holidays.
  • Lead toolbox talks and deliver training on quality-related issues.
  • Audit and ensure compliance of pallets before dispatch to meet customer specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in a production environment with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of process and quality best practices.
  • Familiarity and experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and FSSC 22000 and relevant audit qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, with strong organisational skills.
  • Logical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.
