Quality Control Inspector

Sittingbourne

Mon Friday 37.5hrs

Fantastic new opportunity for a Goods in Inspector to join a successful business who are expanding due to success.

This role is split 50/50 between hands on warehousing duties and QC reporting and inspection, so requires someone with the ability to manage both!

This varied role reports into the Warehouse and Production Manager, and involves:

  • Meticulous quality control of all goods in, ensuring specifications are met, reviewing technical drawings where necessary
  • Using the ERP system daily
  • Careful monitoring of delivery notes and accurate booking in of parts and components
  • Carrying out relevant testing and technical measuring to ensure products and materials are fit for purpose, recording and documenting findings
  • Ensuring material certification compliance
  • Signing off machined parts
  • Working to deadlines
  • Operating counterbalance forklift trucks, and reach trucks
  • Distribution of parts internally
  • Working to support adherence to labelling regulations
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • General warehousing duties as required


This is a Quality Control focused Warehouse role offering progression opportunities!


To be considered you will have:


  • Solid relevant experience in Quality Control from a relevant discipline automotive, metal fabrication or similar would be ideal
  • The ability to read technical drawings
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Experience using measuring equipment accurately, such as digital protractors
  • Good IT skills with experience using ERP systems
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Operated a Reach truck and Counterbalance Forklift truck previously, ideally with a valid licence
  • A good technical ability, ideally with an interest in Quality Engineering
  • A driving licence and your own vehicle this is essential
