Are you a detail-oriented Finance Assistant looking for your next career move?
I am working with one of my favourite clients to recruit a Finance Assistant. This is predominantly a processing role where you will handle financial transactions, liaise with banks, and work with significant sums of money to ensure funds are received and allocated correctly.
We are seeking candidates with experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments, ideally within a large organisation or professional services firm. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, as you will be responsible for processing substantial financial volumes.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing client and firm financial transactions
* Identifying and allocating client receipts
* Managing office and client payments, cheques, and deposit accounts
* Preparing balance reports and reconciliations
* Investigating residual balances
* Using online banking systems
* Ensuring compliance with AML, VAT, and SRA regulations
About You
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
* Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and finance systems
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
