Our client is a growing main contractor based in Glasgow, delivering award-winning projects across the Central Belt. Due to a significant increase in workload, they are now seeking to appoint a Building Services Manager to lead the M&E delivery on a 30 million high-profile refurbishment for a major public sector institution.



Your new role

As Building Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this complex, large-scale refurbishment project from preconstruction through to final handover. Starting at tender stage, you will engage directly with the supply chain and key stakeholders, ensuring all mechanical and electrical elements are managed effectively. Working closely with the operational delivery team, you will coordinate and oversee the M&E aspects of the project, proactively identifying and resolving challenges as they arise. This role will involve both office and site-based responsibilities, offering a stimulating and high-profile challenge that will enhance your career trajectory.



What you'll need to succeed

Our client is seeking a building services professional with a strong mechanical or electrical background. Experience gained within a consultancy, subcontractor, or main contractor environment will be considered, but you must be confident working on-site and liaising directly with stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of commercial project elements are essential. Ideally, you will have experience delivering complex projects within sectors such as education, healthcare, or public institutions.
