Job Title: Engineering Geologist
Location: Glasgow
Salary: 32,000 - 35,000

A new opportunity has opened for an Engineering Geologist based in Glasgow.

You will be joining a respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in geotechnical and environmental engineering. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, undertaking both site-based investigations and office-based technical work.

Responsibilities:


  • Design and supervise ground investigations
    * Carry out Phase 1 desk studies and prepare interpretative reports
    * Undertake geotechnical risk assessments
    * Complete soil and rock logging, sampling, and field testing
    * Support contaminated land assessments
    * Liaise with clients and internal project teams
    * Mentor junior staff where needed

You will also work closely with senior geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists, developing your expertise while contributing to high-quality project delivery.

To be considered for the Engineering Geologist role, you should:
* Hold a degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
* Have experience in ground investigation
* Live within a commutable distance of Glasgow
* Hold a full UK driving licence
