Site Engineering Geologist

Permanent Role

32,000 / year + benefits

Office based in Glasgow, covering sites across Scotland

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage small to medium geotechnical site investigation projects - primarily field-based work.

- Ensure technical, commercial, and HSEQ compliance per company practices.

- Execute site walkovers, logistics planning, and delivery according to briefing and project plan.

- Record soil/rock samples (boreholes, trial pits), carry out field testing, water/gas monitoring, and surveying.

- Manage site teams and resources, preparing progress and technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in Earth Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.

- 3 years' experience minimum on ground investigation projects.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Proficient with MS Office.

- Full UK driving licence.

- Training and mentoring provided based on experience level.
