We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor in the infrastructure and rail sector, who are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple rail-focused civil engineering projects in and around the Central Belt of Scotland.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured works across the rail network, offering long-term career progression and the chance to lead high-profile infrastructure schemes.The Role:As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering works within a live rail environment, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are met. This includes the full project life-cycle - from planning and design coordination through to delivery and handover.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the delivery of rail infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Network Rail standards and company procedures* Manage project teams including site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors* Develop and maintain project programmes and resource plans* Manage health & safety on site, ensuring a culture of safety-first is maintained* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to ensure smooth delivery* Provide regular progress reports to senior management* Work closely with commercial teams to manage budgets, costs and change controlRequirements:* Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects in a rail environment* Excellent leadership and communication skills* Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary teams* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferredWhat's on Offer:* Competitive salary dependent on experience* Car allowance or company vehicle* Excellent benefits package including pension, healthcare and more* Long-term role with strong career development opportunitiesFor information or to apply, please feel free to contact Jamie Nicholson in confidence using the details provided or click the "apply now" link.
