Robert Half are pleased to be working in exclusive partnership with a large training provider in Glasgow who are seeking a temporary Credit Controller with potential opportunity of moving to a permanent position.

This role would suit an individual with a proven track record within credit control management that is looking to contribute to a busy finance function in a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, debts
  • Implementation of collection procedures when necessary
  • Issue invoices promptly, maintaining accurate records of all transactions
  • Ensuring settlement from customers, liaising with customers regarding payments, and resolve any disputes related to payment discrepancies or invoices.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A finance qualification is not essential, but practical experience within credit control is required
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Agresso and familiarity with finance systems
  • Ability to manage time effectively and possess strong analytical skills

Working Arrangements:

  • Location: Glasgow (onsite working for temporary assignment) - Ability to move into a hybrid arrangement
  • Duration: 3-6 Months - This position is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate, should there be mutual interest and a strong fit.
  • Start Date: As soon as possible, Interviews to be scheduled by w/c 25th August
