Job Opportunity: Interim Credit Controller – Glasgow (3-Month Contract)

iMultiply are currently engaged on an interim opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established organisation in Glasgow who is seeking a confident and proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team on a short-term basis.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. You’ll be joining a supportive team during a busy period, making a real impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving queries
- Monitoring aged debt reports and escalating issues where necessary
- Supporting month-end reporting and cash flow forecasting
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth processes
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in credit control, ideally within a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice
