Job Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist commercial joinery manufacturer and fit-out company. A full-time opportunity has arisen for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner based in Cumbernauld. The role involves working on commercial joinery projects, including the manufacture, assembly, and installation of bespoke joinery items.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery items at the bench.

  • Carry out wood machining, site installation, and refurbishment works.

  • Interpret drawings and complete accurate material take-offs.

  • Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver consistently high standards.


Requirements:


  • 10+ years' experience in joinery/carpentry (preferred but not essential).

  • Confident in both design-led and build-stage processes.

  • Strong understanding of drawing interpretation and set-out practices.

  • Adaptable and solutions-focused, with an eye for quality.


Other Qualifications:


  • CSCS card.

  • Full UK driving licence.
