Join Our Dynamic Engineering Team NOW!Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Mobile) Location: Glasgow.Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week Salary: £35,000 per annum + overtime and benefits.We are excited to welcome an experienced Electrician to our expanding Engineering family as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. This role offers a variety of tasks and challenges, ensuring that no two days are the same.As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for upgrading and installing electrical systems, performing maintenance work, inspections, and fault-finding across a portfolio of clients within the Scottish Government. You will keep clients informed of any developments and record all activities, including remedial works and inspection logs, while ensuring a high level of customer service. Additionally, you will conduct safety assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations, provide technical support and training to junior staff, manage inventory and order supplies as needed, and collaborate with other engineers and departments on large-scale projects.To be successful in this role, you should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable using IT systems to record tasks and updates. You must hold Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications, along with 17th or 18th Edition certification. A valid driving licence is also required.The role comes with a kitted-out company vehicle and fuel card, all funded by the business. You will also receive a company smartphone and PDA upon starting.
