Sonic Summary

The Electrical Engineer position is located in Scotstoun at BAE Systems and is a 6-month contract role.
The salary is £25.28 PAYE or £33.92 Umbrella, with 1-2 days required on-site each week.
The role involves designing, developing, and improving shipboard electrical systems, including low voltage distribution and lighting systems.
Candidates should be working towards IEng or CEng registration and preferably have a maritime background.
Experience with reviewing electrical cable schedules and diagrams, and familiarity with CMPIC software is preferred.

You'll apply your technical expertise to support detailed design, modifications, and enhancements across a range of areas—from lighting and earthing systems to aviation support and degaussing. Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of low voltage systems, including:
- LV Distribution & Protection
- Earthing Systems & Cable Routing
- Portable and Domestic Supplies
- Lighting Systems & Degaussing
- Hull Preservation & Aviation Support Systems

What You’ll Need

Working towards IEng or CEng registration with the Engineering Council.
Preferably a maritime background
Reviewing Electrical cable schedules
Reviewing cable diagrams
Preferably experience using CMPIC (main software used in this role)
