Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer/ Electrical Engineer.

Salary: 36,000 - 38,000 per annum.

Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with flexibility)
On-Call Schedule: Available.

Looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer with a strong background in electrical maintenance and building management systems, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure systems and equipment are running efficiently.
  • Test and diagnose power quality issues, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform emergency light testing and routine checks on critical systems.
  • Understand, interpret, and follow technical drawings, instructions, processes, and O&M manuals.
  • Undertake upgrade and installation works to improve systems and equipment.
  • Work alongside sub-contractors to coordinate repairs, ensuring all tasks are performed in line with company policies.
  • Regularly monitor and analyse environmental conditions and review the loading/working conditions of critical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and identify the root causes of failures and take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain accurate records of all site work logs and paperwork.
  • Undertake other duties as required to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (essential).
  • Proven experience in working with building management systems, including fault finding and operation.
  • FM (Facilities Management) experience is advantageous.
  • Health & Safety qualifications such as IOSH and/or NEBOSH.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance processes, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational needs.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take part in an on-call schedule as needed.
